I remember going to Grandpa Horsey's and thinking he was such a strong man (which he was). I was always nervous watching him with his horses, because they were HUGE. But he didn't care, he was the boss of them :-) I loved watching him with his horses. I remember when I was in high school he let me do a report on him, from his Army Days; man the stories he had. Very facinating. He was a great man! You will be missed dearly! Love, Trish

when i was little- and coming for visits, i would have coffee with grandpa.
i had my own little cup, he had his "signature" white cup. coffee in cup, then came the spoonfull of sugar. pour that in and let the spoon go tink tink tink on the sides of the cup. i hated the taste of coffee, but it was coffee with grandpa. i took out your cup Grandpa--- we had coffee yesterday morning. one last time.

I am so sorry to hear of Orville's passing. I only knew him for a short time, but he was such a fun man, full of spunk. He loved to tease me about how small my hands were compared to his! I will miss him, as will many. May you find comfort in God's love and His promise of eternal life.
