Obituary of Dorothy Anderson

Dorothy Monica Anderson, 89, of Cambridge, formerly of Minneapolis and Little Falls, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West. She was born May 3, 1923 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Joseph and Mary (Matzko) Danko. Dorothy grew up and attended school in Little Falls. After school she moved to Minneapolis and began working. She was united in marriage to Vern Anderson. Dorothy worked for Honeywell for over 30 years, retiring in 1987. Upon retirement she moved to Cambridge where she resided in Dellwood Condominiums for many years before moving to Pine Village. Dorothy was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Anna Wenzel, Mary Gamble, Susan Eisel, Helen Lamusga, Beatrice NaSal; two brothers, George and Ernie Danko. Dorothy is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; dear friend, Clare Knudson.
