RIP Perchie .... remember you making us cardboard slides to go down the snow-covered mounds of the Dump in Kitzville where we were born. Remember the neighborhood laughing at you standing on the bridge over the mine run-off trying to catch a fish. There were no fish in there and then you caught a northern, and the neighborhood stopped laughing. There is a photo of that day and how happy you were that I saved it for you. And you teasing us little kids that the Split Rock in Duluth would close with us in it, and all of us sitting on top of the rock as the trains passed. And you standing on the tracks as a train bore down and Grandpa telling you to stop playing on the tracks. And picking berries with mother and Aunt Jen and you trying to "pick" her little toe which was painted red. And you opening the end of every Christmas gift under the tree and each year--you never could stand a surprise. And the day you went in the Army, and the day you came home--changed as all who serve are. And the day you and my BFF Judy were married. And the day your son Jeffrey was born. And the first slogan you chose for your fledgling business "I can mend everything but a broken heart" and how true that was. You had a great sense of humor and were very talented. Glad you have known you in this lifetime. Your sister Fookie, of the Extended family.

I'm very sorry for the loss of a great man. He will truly be missed. From shop talk, fishing or hunting, family or life overall. He always had great stories and memories to share that will never be forgotten. He had great talents, most people wish they could achieve. One secret of his in the shop I will never forget. He only said this around me a few times. Kind of on a hush hush i would guess. He told me once, you really want to learn something. "Fail" how else do you know what the f@!$ works. He will truly be missed
