Obituary of Rose E. Puhl

Rose E. Puhl, age 86, of Cambridge and formerly of North Minneapolis, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 in Cambridge. Rose was born on July 7, 1930 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to Otto and Lydia Ludvigsen. She married Harold Puhl on May 21, 1949 in Sheldon, Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Puhl Sr. and son Harold C. Puhl Jr, and all of her brothers and sisters. Rose is survived by her sons Jerry and Charles Puhl; daughters Jeanne Puhl, Paulette (Bruce) Waldhoff, Karen (Brian) Francisco, Kathy (John) Mikkola; grandchildren Kim, Denny, Amy, Natalie, Clint, Emily, Sheila, Valerie, Jennifer, Kelly, Brent, Sonia, and Luke; 28 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; special family members Sue Ross, Wendy Hansen, and Linda Cobb and other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Elmhurst Commons and to Joy Lutheran Lunch group for their care and kindness. Memorial Service held at 11AM on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Joy Lutheran Church of Cambridge, 1155 Joy Circle. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
