Obituary of Joanne A. Sjodin

Joanne A. Sjodin (nee Rowley) age 85, a lifelong resident of Cambridge, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on October 22, 2017.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Adeline Rowley and brother Wayne (Naomi) Rowley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 Years, Dennis; sons Greg Sjodin, Brent (Kathy) Sjodin, Kevin Sjodin, Tim (Sue) Sjodin, Paul (Denise) Sjodin and Shawn Sjodin; grandchildren Julia Sjodin, Erick, Matt and Heather Sjodin , Evyn Sjodin-Weston, Blake (Ashley) Sjodin, Chris Sjodin, Sanna (Jake) Usher, Shelby Sjodin, Dena (Jerred) Norring, Teri (Gio) Brooks and James (Trista) Kirchberg;  great-grandchildren Clairabelle & Delilah Sjodin, Karlee & Holden Norring, Piper & Decker Brooks, Austin & Blake Kirchberg, Liam Usher and one on the way;  brothers John (Joyce) Rowley and Jerry (Joyce) Rowley and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and special friend, Jill Hawkinson, who took such great care of Joanne.

Long-time piano teacher in the Cambridge area.  She also played and  taught Bells at Cambridge Lutheran Church for many years.

Memorial service 11 AM Saturday October 28, 2017 at Cambridge Lutheran Church 621 Old N. Main St Cambridge

Visitation 1 hour prior to service at the church on Saturday.
