Obituary of Kent Eric Wimer

Kent E. Wimer, age 54, of Cambridge, formerly of Cedar Rapids, IA, died suddenly on October 22, 2017.

Kent was born February 19, 1963 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Bennie and Katherine (Sparks) Wimer

He was preceded in death by his twin infant daughters, Megan & Abigail;  father Benny and sister Karen Wimer.

Survived by his loving wife Mary; children Hannah, Timothy and Benjamin Wimer; mother Katherine Wimer and brothers Kevin (Margie) Wimer, Kurt Wimer.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Kent owned Wimer Painting. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed fishing, archery, tinkering in his garage, building “stuff” and playing billiards.  He was known as a “Pool Shark”.
