Obituary of Randall L. McIntyre

            Randall Loren McIntyre, 45 of Princeton, formerly of Isanti passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Home in St. Paul.

            He was born May 24, 1972 in Chisago City, Minnesota to Byron and Hazel (Kruse) McIntyre.  He was baptized and confirmed at Spring Lake Lutheran Church.  Randy attended grade school in Isanti and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1990.  He went on to attend St. Cloud Business College and earned a degree in accounting and as a travel agent.  Randy worked for a time at MLT Travel Agency, Prudential Insurance and various other jobs.  In 2003 he began working at USDP and worked in many different areas of the company over the years and was still employed there at the time of his passing. 

            On March 20, 2010 he was united in marriage to Carin Smith in Elk River, they made their home in Princeton along with their two children.  Most recently they moved to a townhome in Princeton. 

            Randy enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing poker and woodworking; selling the bird houses he made and going with his mother to craft sales.  He liked to watch the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, NASCAR, he grew up camping with his parents, traveling to 48 different states.  He enjoyed the time spent with his family, going to the Wisconsin Dells, Monster Truck Show with his son and traveling with Carin to Las Vegas. 

            He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Fern McIntyre, Victor and Helen Kruse, uncles Wally Lindstrom and Elmer McIntyre.  Randy is survived by his wife Carin and their two children Ethan and Emmah of Princeton, step daughter Samantha Smith (Travis) and granddaughter Hazely of St. Cloud, mother Hazel McIntyre of Isanti, sister Tammi Nelson and nephews Isaac and Nathan Nelson of Isanti, aunt/grandma Carol Lindstrom of North Branch, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.

            A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM, Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Spring Lake Lutheran Church.  Visitation 2-5PM, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the spring at Cambridge Union Cemetery.
