Obituary of Judith Ann Collins

Judith Ann Collins, age 74, of Harris, Minnesota, passed away on November 18, 2018 at her apartment at Lino Lakes Assisted Living.

Judy was born at home in North Branch Township to Henrik and Viola Elmstrand on December 19, 1943.

She went to school in Cambridge and graduated from North St. Paul High School.  She married James Collins, Jr. went to beauty school and had two daughters.

For many years she was an owner/operator at her own salon in Harris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, former spouse James Collins, brother Roger Elmstrand, nephew David Elmstrand, and niece Cindy Edstrom.

Judy is survived by her daughters Deborah Collins and husband Todd Gremmels of Duluth, Vicki Collins and husband Jeff Petroske of Sun City, Arizona, four grandchildren Jenell (Paul) Fransen, Cassie Jo Rulli, Derek (Alyna) Turnbull, and Daniel Turnbull, four great grandchildren Norah & Ian Fransen, Declan and Londyn Turnbull; siblings Dennis (Kathleen) Elmstrand of Harris, Linda (Ronald) Larson of Harris, Barbara Ruis of Moundsview, Rodney (Sara) Elmstrand of North Branch, as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 23 at 11:00 am at Joy Lutheran Church officiated by Rev. Daniel Lewis with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be held at a later date in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Weber.
