Obituary of Alontae Dotstry

Perry Alontae Peoples Dotstry (better known as Alontae) passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2019 at the age of 20.  Alontae was born to Sha-Kelia Dotstry on August 21, 1998 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Alontae attended high school at Cambridge-Isanti High and Rum River East, with a desire to pursue graphic design.

Alontae had a huge passion for fashion, if you knew him, he always would say “I’m a savage” as he always made sure he was dressed to the tee.  Growing up, Alontae was the shy one in the group, but once he got to know you, you were definitely in trouble.  He would talk your ear off, but he had a smile that would light up the room – something that will be deeply missed.

Alontae loved music, hanging with his friends and just enjoying life to the fullest.

Alontae leaves memories to his beloved mother Sha-Kelia Dotstry; grandmother Barb Dotstry (Wallace Lawrence); grandfather Ray Johnson; sisters Tajiana Dotstry and Kairihana Dotstry; brother Makharie Dotstry; along with a host of cousins, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home, 311 S. Ashland St, Cambridge, MN on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 2-5 PM and one hour prior to the service.  Funeral Service at 11 AM on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home.
