Obituary of William J. Bayer, Jr.

William “Bill” J. Bayer Jr. of Roseville, Minnesota passed away on August 15, 2019 at GracePointe Crossing in Cambridge where he resided since 2011.  He was 90 years old.  Bill was born on January 21, 1929 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the youngest of four.  On June 10, 1950, Bill was united in marriage to Marion Michlitsch.  They made their home in Roseville, Minnesota and also lived on Rush Lake near Rush Point, Minnesota from 1971-1988.  They were blessed with four daughters.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife Marion, daughter Mary, his parents Margaret and William Bayer Sr, three sisters Dorothy, Marcella and Dory.

Bill is survived by his three daughters Carolann (John) Holmblad of Cambridge, Susan (James) Turnquist of Isanti, and Marian Bayer of Knossos, Crete.  Bill has five granddaughters Erica (Joshua) Gerrity, Mary Dahlquist, Julia (Michael) Dixon, Madeline Turnquist and Emma (Mitchell) Anlauf along with nine great-grandchildren.

Bill will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM Saturday August 24, 2019 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 230 N. Fern St. Cambridge, MN

Friends may gather 1 hour prior to Mass at the church on Saturday.
