Obituary of Carman Lyle Frarck

Carman Lyle Frarck of Cambridge, Minnesota passed away peacefully on April 8, 2015. He was surrounded by his family. Carman was born on July 23, 1951 in Fergus Falls, MN to Paul and Lyla (Gulbrandson) Frarck. He was the youngest of six children. He grew up in Barrett, MN; there he lived on the farm until 1966 when his parents moved to town. He attended school in Barrett, graduating in 1969. In the fall of 1969, he attended Golden Valley Jr. College. There he played football and basketball. While there he met his wife Jacki. They were married on September 13, 1971, in Barrett, MN. They had three children Jonathan, Jennifer, Jill. In the fall of 1975 they moved to Cambridge, where Carman started working in the refrigeration business with Jacki’s dad. In 1979 he started working at Hoffman Engineering in Anoka, MN. After 33 yrs. of service he retired in 2012. Carman was also in the U. S. Army Reserves for 23 yrs. serving from 1973 through 1995. Carman served on the Isanti County Fair Board for over ten yrs. He was active in the Isanti County 4-H program with his children. In his later years he enjoyed camping and traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite trip was to Yellowstone and Custer’s Last Stand. Carman was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Lyla Frarck. He is survived by his wife Jacki of Cambridge, his children Jonathan (Angie), Prairie Farm, WI; Jennifer (Damon) Tyman, Amery, WI; Jill (Alan) Dietz, Ramsey, MN. Grandchildren Rosemary and Cameron Frarck; Paighton, Garret and Ethan Tyman. He is also survived by brothers, Dennis, Robert, Ernie, Quinten Frarck and sister, Janet Mobley.
