Obituary of Christine Claire Meagher
Christine Claire (English) Meagher, age 40, of Harris passed away on June 17th, 2015.
Christine was born destined for the loving arms of Forrest and Susan (Hendrickson) English on April 2nd, 1975. With her family, she resided in Minneapolis, Sacramento, and Prospect, Kentucky – excluding of course all of those summers on Pine Island, Rainy Lake, and Ontario. She later returned to Minnesota and completed her Associate of Arts degree at The Arts Institute of Minnesota. She found a career she enjoyed in the mortgage title business, through which she met many friends.
She married Peter Meagher on August 17th, 2002. She continued in the title business until the birth of their first daughter Margaret on April 9th, 2005. At that point she found her true calling as a full-time mother. She continued her mastery of the role with birth of their second daughter Julia on September 27th, 2008. Her grace, poise, patience, kindness, and humor are just some of the gifts she has bestowed on them.
Christine developed many relationships and many roles. She was active in her PEO Chapter, loving her PEO sisters and their philanthropic activities. She was also very active as a member of Fish Lake Lutheran Church, most recently as part of the MET team coordinating the call for a new pastor. Those activities along with her book club and knitting sales spread her joy even further. She developed cherished friendships through these and other endeavors.
Christine was preceded in death by her father Forrest English and is survived by her husband Peter, daughters Margaret (age 10) and Julia (age 6), brother Alexander English of San Diego, CA, mother and step-father Susan and Peter Mauritz of South Salem, OH. She has many cherished extended family members and friends who will continue this life with many memories of her in their hearts.
