I was sad to here of Ansel's passing and recalled something Ansel did for me long ago which changed my life. It was 1980 and I was 18. I wanted to buy my own house. I visited numerous realators and Ansel was the only one who took me serious due to my age. He helped me find a home I could afford and talked the owner in to trusting me with a contract for deed.The banks would not loan an 18 year old any money when all I had was a job and a dream. Ansel even personally loaned me the money I was short for the down payment. Shortly afterward the interest rates shot up to 18 percent and I know that had it not been for Ansel, I would not have had my own home for many years later. I wish I would have heard of his passing prior to his services, and I regret not thanking him again for his kindness years ago!

I feel blessed to have known Ansel. He shed light into my grandma Helen's heritage and childhood. His stories were fabulous! R.I.P., Ansel.

Dear Deloris & Family I am so sorry to hear of the passing on of dear Ansel. I am so blessed to have known him and dear Deloris . My heart is hurting for all the family , DeLoris' I am in Florida visiting Doyle and will be home in Mora this coming Saturday. I will be in touch with you before then, I pray the Lord will comfort you in your time of sorrow.
