I knew maddy from highschool. We had a different group of friends so we didnt get to know each other very well. But i remember how nice to me she always was, in spite of other girl drama. I remember her in my math class and she was always so funny and out going. We werent close with each other by any means but her passing leaves my heart broken. Broken for the loss of her young life, broken for her family members, and broken because of all the things she had yet to accomplish. From what i know about maddy, she was always very hard working. I knew that if she wouldve had the chance she wouldve done something great with her life, which is more then you can say about most people our age. I know that she worked hard through out her 4 years of high school on top of battling cancer. It really breaks my heart that she wont be able to walk accross the stage with the class of 2016 and cellebrate everything shes worked so hard for. Heaven gained an Angel, and God needed her at his right side. He has more planned for her there then he wouldve had planned for her here. I wish he wouldve given her more time none the less. Ill think of her the next time i find myself taking things for granted, and ill think of her everytime i dont appreciate things in life and the time i have here, because it really can be gone before you know it. I am deeply sorry for the nelson family and the loss of such a beautiful soul. But she was designed for more then this world can offer. I send my prayers and my condolnences to the nelson family.
