Obituary of James F. Lusk

James F. Lusk of Brook Park, MN, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 at GracePointe Crossing East at the age of 80. He was born on July 14, 1935 to Emil and Christine (Filipek) Lusk in Montgomery, MN. On June 4, 1955, James was united in marriage to Marilyn at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault, MN. He worked at King Packing as a butcher in South St. Paul, MN. He retired after 19 years. He opened his own grocery store and butcher shop in Stark, MN. and other businesses. James is preceded in death by his parents Emil and Christine Lusk and brother Harlan Lusk. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn; his children David Lusk of Brook Park, MN, Kim Sampson of Hastings, MN, Julie (Don) Kelly of Cottage Grove, MN; grandchildren Erin, Brian, Rachael. Nicole, Sean, Travis, Danyelle, Mikayla and 10 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Dr. Barry Larson and staff; Clinical Coordinator Connie Boerger “Mother”, friend Dennis (Char) Lindquist and family, Tammy Lindquist, Lori Lindquist, Laura Westberg, grandson Kaden and Guardian Angels Hospice Team. Private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Montgomery, MN.
