Dear Cousins,
We only learned of Millie's death from a phone conversation my sister Janna recently had with Elaine Ashford. Our hearts are with you at this sad time. I remember Millie as a very sweet and pretty lady, from some of the family gatherings in the Sixties and Seventies. I wish we could have been there with you today, but we send thoughts and prayers from Arizona for peace and comfort for all of you.
With Love,
Kristin Olson Smith (daughter of Alton) and Steve Smith

I'm so sorry for your loss. Millie was such a beautiful, kind and sweet woman; I met her at Riverwood Village when she lived there. She was always smiling and so well dressed and accessorized. We often chatted and commented on each other's jewelry. :) I have very fond memories of her. God bless your family as you say good bye.

Karl, Barb, Bev and families,
We were so sorry to hear about your mom. Our deepest sympathy. I have so many memories of visits to your home in Cambridge when we were kids and the fun times we had. Especially sliding down the upstairs staircase!!
Your mom was so warm and welcoming and yes, she was an awesome cook! I can always picture your mom's wonderful smile.
Praying for peace and comfort for all of you.
Blessings,
Michelle

Barbara.....I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom....I remember her serving meals to all of us....I always went back for seconds and I will never forget the AMAZING peanut butter open bread sandwiches she made.....I once figured out the secret.....the peanut butter and butter were all mixed up into one! I also remember the wonderful victorian style house on the corner, was even in it a couple times - the kitchen was so welcoming....I loved it!....Another memory of your mother is when I was young and crossed paths with your mom going to work early in the morning on a cold day. There was all this "fog" coming from the kitchen to the outside....there was a ledge at the side of the school by the kitchen...that's where we crossed paths....My mother died back in March of dementia....My heart goes out to you.
