"Let your light so shine before others that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven" - Matthew 5:16
Chet's love was a light within him that he shared with all people he encountered. Blessed be his memory.

Dear family,
I am so saddened to learn of Chet's passing. Such a precious, dear man and friend to all of us at The Commons on Marice. As his chaplain for three years, I had the great privilege of having many conversations with Chet. Oh, the wonderful stories he always had to tell! A ready laugh, twinkle in his eye, and such kindness. His love for music and singing in the chorus was a joy that he shared with passion and commitment until his eyesight was too much of a challenge for him to see the words. I will treasure his friendship always and thank God for the living witness of his deep faith. He was faithful to come to services and he often had comments to share with me about parts of the service that were particularly meaningful to him. Thank you so VERY much for sharing this wonderful man with us at The Commons. I know he is sorely missed! May you find peace and strength in God's tender arms. The journey of grief is complicated, but knowing that Chet is in the loving arms of the Savior gives us hope to continue on until we are reunited in glory. You are in my thoughts and prayers. ~ Chaplain Beth

I remember visiting Debbie many times throughout our school years and how kind and wonderful her father was. I especially remember a slumber party that kept him up til the wee hours of the morning and never a harsh word to us. What a wonderful man! My heartfelt condolences to the family.
