I will miss Otto and Eleanore as long as I live. Otto is my God Father and Eleanore and I share our same birthday in October a few years apart. We visited nearly every time that I came to Minnesota. Otto and Eleanor traveled to Michigan in 1962 to be with Merna and I at our wedding and came to North Carolina more recently. I still have the 1904 single shot 22 Remington rolling block that Otto loaned to me when I was about 12 years old.
One could not find a more loving and exemplary aunt and uncle that have blessed me for 80 years.
Thank you Nancy, Marge, Mary and Barb for sharing your parents with me. May the Lord bless you and your families as He has looked after us in our sojourn here on earth. Karl Otto and Merna Hesse
