Obituary of Daniel K. Diedrich
Daniel Kenneth Diedrich of Braham left this life January 26, 2017 at the age of 59.
Danny was born the first of three children on May 11, 1957 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Robert and Betty (Fick) Diedrich. The family resided in the South St. Paul area before moving north to settle in Braham with their family business. There they made their home ever since. Danny attended Braham Schools from 1969 until his graduation in May of 1976. While in school, Danny excelled in football, basketball, and track. Throughout his school years and into his adult life, Danny was an active part of the family business, Diedrich’s Live Bait.
Danny was a vibrant, full of life man who put his whole heart into everything he did. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, basketball, softball, baseball, and trap shooting, to name a few. He excelled at everything he did. He loved traveling with his family, and friends to hunt in Montana, and to their family cabin on East Fox Lake. He took great pride in passing down his passion for the outdoors to his children. He was so proud to be a part of his son’s first deer and would spend hours blasting clay pigeons with both of his kids out by the minnow ponds.
His children were his everything. His face would light up whenever he was with them. They were his pride and joy. He treasured every moment he got to spend with them.
He is survived by his children Devin and Hunter Diedrich, his parents Bob and Betty Diedrich, brother Rob (Laura) Diedrich, sister Amy (Michael) Ramstad, nieces and nephews Korey Siltman; Ariel and Allen Ramstad; Brock, Kayla, and Lukas Diedrich
