I have so many wonderful memories when we were at Cambridge Methodist Church. She always had a wonderful smile and kind words of encouragement. What a powerful example of Christian love and compassion. May God's blessings and peace be on her family!

I had the joy of being acquainted with Ady, who was my grandmother Osterdyk's best friend for many years. I met Ady in person for the first time at my grandmother's funeral; Ady delivered the final eulogy. What a wonderful woman Ady was--a great storyteller, a woman of faith, an engaged citizen, and devoted to family and community.
I am so sorry for your loss. I can only hope that Ady and Tillie (my grandmother) are attending services in heaven as they did on earth.

I have so many wonderful and warm memories of Addie. Playing music, having coffee together and of course singing in choir. She was a good friend to my mother while she lived here with me in Minnesota and that was really special. She will be truly missed. My heart goes out to all her family at this time of loss.

I had the great joy of working with this fine lady. My father hired her as his secretary in 1971 and she was like a second mother to me. She always told me I was her Seventh Son. I will miss her dearly.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family. I had the opportunity to work with Adyline when I also was working in the Isanti County Sheriffs Dept. She was a very great asset to the department and a valuable source of common sense. She had a very calming presence and was a very good person with a big heart. I am sure she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

You could write a Novel about this Amazing Women's life. Most importantly how many peoples lives She had made an impact. She has done many things to mold My being. I remember when I was a kid We used to go visit her at the Sheriffs office. I was always so mesmerized when ever We went over there. She was the reason I decided to become a Police Officer. It was also through Her I was able to Understand what having a personal relationship with God was all about. Not only giving Me a guide to live but also helping Me to cultivate a purposeful, righteous life. She was a glue that brought the family together. I have many fond memories of Holidays and gatherings out at Her place.I loved to go out and see Her. She was a strong, independent and loving Woman. She has held many titles and positions in Her life. Be it Sheriff, Writer, Gardener, Singer, Musician or Friend to name only a few. However the one that gives Me the most pride and the greatest sense of Honor is the one that She held in My life above all others. I called Her Grandma. Love You always Grandma. Rest in peace.

My Dear Aunt Ady was one in a million for sure,
She Loved her family so much, her house in the woods,
the birds and animals that would visit her there,
I treasure the time with her having tea, and listening to
stories of her life and family stories from years ago,
We will miss her and love her always.

I worked with Ady thinning her pines on her property. She loved her trees. And I did too. We thinned them 3 times. She came with me and my mom and sue Becca and Ben to Grand rapids when I got an award for tree farm inspector of the year. We had many talks over the years.

I remember a day I spent with Adyline. We went grocery shopping in Isanti. We dropped can goods on the floor. As they rolled around, we laughed. I think we might have stopped at the Creamery Cafe for a bite to eat, too. When we went back to the house, she gave me pictures of my great-grandparents, and we talked about our family. I will miss her.

I have wonderful memories of growing up in Isle, Minnesota in the late 40's and early 50's before moving to Washington state in 1952. We enjoyed her visit with Aunt Millie at my brother, Craig's wedding. We toured Whidbey Island in Puget Sound with them both and had lots of laughs talking about her early years in the restaurant business and as a deputy sheriff. I was a deputy sheriff for Island County and shared with her some stories we had in common. My daughter, Kim met her for the first time and thought she was a great, brave woman. Although a lot miles separate us, we wish you all the best at this difficult time. Addie was a strong woman and raised six boys by herself and we know you are proud of her. All our love and support, Dennis and Elaine
