Obituary of Robert Bruns

Robert C. “Buzz” Bruns, age 51 of Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly from a Pulmonary Thrombosis at his home on March 31, 2017. Buzz was passionate about life and everything life encompassed. He was an avid Harley rider, and loved to spend time in the outdoors. He brought life and joy into everything he did and to everyone he met. Preceded in death by his father Richard Clifton Bruns; grandmother Ruby Rushing. Survived by his sweetheart Laurie Buckingham; brother-from-another-mother Tim O’Day; mother Ruth Bruns; sisters Lisa Bruns and Lynn Opgaard; nephews Daniel (Rebecca) Benson and Sam Opgaard; nieces Lindsey (Steve) Wallace and Lydia Opgaard; great-nephews Carson Benson, Henry Wallace and Rhett Wallace. Also survived by his uncles Edward Wiegand and Dennis (Pam) Weigand; extended family Dave (Rose) Buckingham, Michael (Jenni) Buckingham and granddaughter Laura Buckingham and a long list of family and friends.
