Obituary of John J. Johnson

John J. Johnson, 74, of Waite Park, Minnesota, passed away on November 17, 2016 at his home in Waite Park.

            He was born May 25, 1942 in Lime Lake Township, Murray County, Minnesota to Nelson E. and Helen (Gisch) Johnson.

            John joined the U.S. Air Force and served during Vietnam.  He was honorably discharged in August 1965. 

            He enjoyed old cars and motorcycles, talking about his days in the Air Force and especially liked to hunt and fish.

            John was preceded in death by his father in 1946 due to a car accident.  His mother Helen Krueger passed away on November 20, 2016.

            He is survived by uncle, Raymond Gisch of Abernathy, Texas and many cousins, other relatives and friends. 

            Private Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10:30AM at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery, Comfrey, Minnesota.
