Obituary of Wayne Frederick Brown

Brown, Wayne F. “Gramps” age 81 of Coon Rapids and Elk River, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the St. Cloud VA on November 22, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick & Loraine; siblings Donald, Beverly Rushin, Veronica Taylor, Frederick Jr. “Buster”; niece Colleen Olson and beloved dog, Rosie.

Wayne is survived by his sons; Jerry, Tom, Dale (Shelley Wilson), David (Renee), Charlie (Andi Caouette), Darren, and Robert (Carly Behl).  He has 21 Grandchildren and 23 Great-Grandchildren.

Also surviving Wayne are his wives; Kathleen Brown, Carla Brown and Toni Rakke; nieces, Mickey Rushin, Ginny Wickman, Connie (Armand) French, Giselle Rushin; nephews, Edward Rushin and Frederick (Joann) Rushin and many other relatives and great friends.

“Gramps was a beloved friend to the many people that he met.  He will be dearly missed.”

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday November 29, 2017 at The Holy Rosary Catholic Church 2424 18th Ave S. Mpls.

Visitation 1 hour prior to service at the church on Wednesday.

Interment Ft.  Snelling National Cemetery with honors.
