Obituary of Douglas Walter Fredeen

Douglas W. Fredeen, age 73, of Springvale Township passed away peacefully at his home on September 28, 2018.  Doug was born at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul on June 24, 1945 to Joel & Clarice Fredeen of Springvale, MN.  He grew up on the family farm and worked for FMC in the Twin Cities for many years.  Doug loved farming, old cars, big tractors, his many pets, family and many special friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Glen Moeller.  Doug is survived by his sisters Carol (Richard) Stay and Susan Moeller; nephews and nieces; Virgil (Lisa) Stay, Adam (Dee) Stay, Stephanie (Ryan) Esch, Julie (Garrett) Schairer, Tara (Scott) Fraser, Kristy (Philip) Sullivan and Matthew Moeller, great-nephews and great-nieces; Nathaniel, Rebecca, Zachary Stay, Ashley Tougas; Otis, Sawyer and Holden Esch; Nyssa, Emelia and Hasalyn Schairer,  Tristin Moeller, great-great-nieces Keyana Tougas and Rayne Wolf.

Also survived by his step-grandchildren Melissa, Levi and MaCinzey Maas and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial service 1 PM Thursday October 4, 2018 at Springvale Baptist Church 410 County Rd 6 NW Stanchfield, MN

Friends may gather 1 hour prior to the service to share their memories of Doug.

Interment Springvale parish cemetery.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
