Obituary of Katherine Bergloff

Katherine Anna Bergloff, 90, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the Cambridge Health Care Center. She was born November 1, 1916 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Victor and Elizabeth (Robertson) Moody. Katherine grew up in East Cambridge and was baptized at First Baptist Church. She attended the Moody Country School and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1935. After high school Katherine worked at the Quick Lunch Restaurant that her mother owned. On April 26, 1941 she was united in marriage to Harlan J. Bergloff at her parents' home. For the next six years the lived in several places along with their four sons and in 1947 the family settled on Harlan's family farm on Spectacle Lake. After retiring they lived for a time at Pine Village and the last years Katherine was a resident at the Cambridge Health Care Center. Katherine enjoyed sewing, visiting and playing cards with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Clark, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Roberta and Bennett Erickson. Katherine is survived by her husband Harlan of Cambridge, sons Douglas and wife Marilyn Bergloff of Cambridge, Lowell and wife Eleanor Bergloff of Cambridge, Scott and wife Maia Bergloff of Northome, daughter-in-law Gayle Bergloff of Mora, ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nieces and other relatives.
