Obituary of James Rodney Rogian
James Rodney Rogian, 55, of Brainerd, formerly of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Almond House in Brainerd following a long battle with dementia.
He was born on November 3, 1962 in Minneapolis, MN to Arthur and Ada (Mathison) Rogian. As a teenager, Jim lived in Cambridge, attending grade school and graduated from Cambridge High School. He worked a few years at Motek Engineering. After graduating, he married and moved to Arizona and they had three children. Jim worked as a machinist for several years. After his divorce, Jim moved back to Minnesota and most recently, due to failing health became a resident at the Almond House in Brainerd.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Timothy and son Aaron. He is survived by his sons Christopher Rogian of Arizona, Matthew Rogian of California, grandchildren Hannah, Eve and Ryanne Rogian, father Arthur (Linda) Rogian of Cambridge, mother Ada Mathison of Albert Lea, step sister Samantha (Robert) Ramberg of Cambridge, step brother Steve Tracy of Milwaukee, WI, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Cambridge. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment in the parish cemetery.
