He is 'home' now, where we all hope to be one day. He certainly has good company! What is so imbedded in my mind is the way he would smile. Everyone who knows him, knows what I mean. Sometimes he would just smile and not say anything. We both were proud that for just one day we were the same age, then I had to turn a whole year older the next day. So hard to lose a sibling, they are such a big part of us, and it never seems right. He will always be there, with us forever. Love to you all.

I was thinking today when I was uploading these pictures of you and the craziest memory popped into my head. you were pretending to sleep on you and mom's old steel bed, the one that was black with the gold flower on it, it was a ton of springs and a matress not box springs..thats how old it was..well Jerry and I didnt want you to sleep and you covered your head with a pillow and I dont know who did it first but one of us stepped on your head held on to the bed frame and jumped up and down as fast as we could. We took turns doing that for who knows how long. laughing our butts off till we almost peed our pants! That was a good day Dad!

My heart goes out to you. Tom was very special to me,from our joking to our serious discussions I'll never forget them!:) I know he's looking down at us saying come on guys buck up! He wouldn't want us to be sad but doesn't realize the impact he was to us or how truly special he was to us! This is so hard but like Dad at least they didn't have to waste away,suffer or linger in the hospital. I don't know what to say nothing helps right now but please know that I'm thinking and praying for you guys if you need anything let me know. Love you Toni

Dear Kathy, Donna & Family, My heart and prayers go out to you in your loss of Tom. Losing a husband, brother, dad, grandfather - oh, so difficult. Try to focus on the good memories and not his times of being sick - I am sure he would want to be remembered that way. My heart grieves for you all in your pain - losing someone dear to us does leave kind of a hole in the heart, don't you think?! Time helps - stay strong!!
