Obituary of Dennis Robert Ziebarth

Dennis Robert Ziebarth, 75, of Cambridge died on Monday, January 14, 2019 at his home.

            He was born on August 29, 1943 in Elk River, MN the 11^th of 12 children to Frank and Alice (Peterson) Ziebarth.  Dennis attended school in Princeton where he graduated high school in 1961.  As a high school senior, he joined the Army Reserve and went on active duty in January 1962.

            In 1963 he married Judy Slater of East Cambridge and to this union three children were born Todd, Trent and Tracie.  In 1965 Dennis went to work for Federal Cartridge in Anoka and retired from there after 38 years.

            Dennis loved to hunt and fish in his spare time.  He also played in many dance bands for several years.  In the past few years, he enjoyed checking out the flora and fauna of Isanti County.

            He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Alice (Peterson) Ziebarth, son Todd Ziebarth, former wife Judy Ziebarth, sisters Annabelle and Dory Akers, Joan Ziebarth, brothers Francis and Bernard Ziebarth.

            Dennis is survived by his son Trent Ziebarth (Becky Gregoire) of Granite Falls, Tracie (Ron) Stoffer of Dexter, MI, grandchildren Elizabeth and Benjamin Ziebarth, Ellie (Charles) McCalla, and Gibson Stoffer, brothers Donald Ziebarth and friend Judy, Wellington (Diane) Ziebarth, Jerry (Joyce) Ziebarth, Larry Ziebarth, sisters Joyce Mattson and Mary Mattson, sister-in-law Irene Ziebarth, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

            A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2-5PM, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home in Cambridge.  Interment will be in Baldwin Cemetery, Sherburne County, MN.
