Obituary of Becky Williams
Rebecca Ann Williams, 59, of Harris, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN.
She was born September 30, 1959 in Minneapolis, MN to Malcolm and Betty (Malcolm) Syverson. She was baptized and confirmed at Olive Branch Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids. Becky grew up in Coon Rapids and graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1978. She took medical records courses at Anoka Tech later and earned a degree in bookkeeping at Cambridge Community College.
On February 9, 1980, she was united in marriage to Clifford Williams at Olive Branch Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids. To this union, three daughters were born - Darla, Stacy, and Hanna. They made their home in Cambridge, Stanchfield and the past 21 years in rural Harris.
Becky worked at Grandview Christian Home as a nurse’s aide, as a bookkeeper at Parker-Satrom Law Office and currently at Frandsen Corporation.
She was an active member at Calvary Lutheran Church where she was involved with the youth group, was a Sunday School teacher, council member and an honorary Men’s Group member. Becky enjoyed gardening, crafting, fishing, camping, being outdoors, playing with the grandkids and spending time with her girls. She was a wonderful cook and baker, and even recently found an interest in beekeeping and was planning to start that hobby.
She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Syverson, grandparents Forrest & Gladys Malcolm and Herman & Dorothy Syverson, special friend Joyce Swanson, parents-in-law Matthew & Mary Ann Williams, sister-in-law Marte Williams, and brother-in-law Roger Neal.
Becky is survived by her husband Cliff, daughters Darla (Chris) Peterson of Princeton, Stacy (Justin) Yatckoske of Foreston, MN , Hanna Williams (Travis Dow) of Princeton, nine grandchildren; Caleb(17), Makayla(15), Chloe(9), Ella(7), Cora(5), Emily(4), Liam(3), Annie(2), Emit(1), father Malcolm (Bonnie) Syverson of Wyoming, MN, brothers Mike Syverson (Sandie) of Ham Lake, Jammey (Lana) Syverson of White Bear Lake, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Calvary Lutheran Church of Rush Point. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment in the church cemetery.
