Thinking of Bill's family at this time and sending our thoughts and love to you. We had a Celebration of Life for Bill in September,2013 and were so glad that Michelle and Kris and family could be there with us to meet and talk with Bill's friends from his hometown of Isle, MN. Hardly a day goes by but what his name isn't mentioned and then a story comes to mind about Bill. The memories we have are an accumulation of 60 years that we knew him. We miss him.

Billy and I were asked if our group would like to entertain the prisoners at St.Cloud Prison. The group included myself and Bill and Denny Holbert and John Green. We had what you might call a jug band. Bill and I on guitar,John on a wash tub base and Denny sang. We agreed to do it and I must say we all got a lot out of it as the prisoners didnt want us to leave. It was very gratifying. We did a lot of Johnny Cash music and several pop songs of the day. A most cherished memory.

Thinking of you(Kathy, Michelle ,Chris, and Mike). All of us Tack's have so many wonderful memories of Bill. Lloyd talks about him often and reminds us of all their Boundary Water adventures. I'm sure my mom, Bruce and Bill are looking down at us each and every day. I miss them all so much and so glad I had the honor of having them all in my life. Hope you are all doing well and my thoughts will be with you. Bill was one of the funniest and caring father's I have ever met. When I think of Bill, it just brings a smile to my face. I am so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He was such a wonderful,funny and caring human being. Lloyd still tells the tales of the Boundary Water adventures. I still remember years ago I was walking down Fillmore st. and Bill was getting out of his old rusty car. When he shut the car door some rust fell to the ground and he smiled and said "Just think Susie, 2 more car payments and this baby is all mine." I still laugh to this day. His humor was contagious. My mother just adored him and now it brings a smile to my face when I think Bill is up there with my mom and Bruce. Oh what laughs they are having. God Bless all of them. Miss them all so much. My thoughts are with all you Munson's. Thank goodness for such wonderful memories. Please take care and know we are all thinking of you. All my love, Susie

I remember times with Bill with great fondness. What a good guy! We had so much fun during high school and beyond. I'm saddened by news of Bills death. We were great friends years ago. I taught him to play guitar and him,Denny Holbert, John Green and myself went to St.Cloud prison and entertained prisoners. Billy and I also performed at Luthern Church mens group in Isle. He was the funniest friend I've ever had. I'll miss him. We played many nights for parties and at his folks house. One night at George and Stellas we were playing, Bill and I on guitar, John Green on the washtub base and Denny singing into a cheap amplifier. Bill deceided we should make some homemade wine so he put all kinds of grapes in a large crock and thought it needed an old shoe. Needless to say we didnt drink it but he made it fun nonetheless. He was a champion guy.
