Dear Family Members of Donn Fredlund:
Lois and I are very saddened to hear about Donn’s passing. Donn was one of the first people we met when we moved to Cambridge back in 1967. In fact, while working for Fredlund Bros., he sold us a stunning Dodge Coronet 500! His salesmanship radiated perfect professionalism and unmatched integrity.
We were equally impressed with Donn’s commitment and dedication to our local education and athletics. His “professional voice” on radio will always be remembered when he broadcasted Bluejacket athletic games, and hosted the “Coffee with the Coaches” program on Saturday mornings.
Regarding his legendary “singing voice”, it would be amazing to discover how many hymns Donn sang over the years with the Sanctuary Choir and special occasions at Cambridge Lutheran Church.
Donn was truly one of God’s prized servants of our community. His peace and grace places him “On Eagles Wings” as he now sings with God’s Holy Choir. Cambridge is a better place because of Donn Fredlund.
