Obituary of Stuart Falk
Stuart Gothard Falk, 71, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at the Grandview Christian Home.
He was born May 29, 1936 to Russell and Hilma (Anderson) Falk. He grew up in the Pine Lake area east of Cambridge and attended the District 30 Skalin country school. In 1955 he graduated from Cambridge High School. He went on into the United States Army where he was stationed at Fort Buss, Texas and was honorably discharged in June 1965.
Stuart married Barb Ellingson and they had one son Jeff. He later married Mary Abrahamson on June 25, 1966 she had a daughter Kathy and the couple had two daughters Julie and Alison. They lived in the Isanti and Cambridge area raising their children. They eventually made their home next to Stuart's family farm home.
Stuart worked as a welder at Bros Company, Arrow Tank in Cambridge and also Onan in Fridley from which he retired in 1996.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti. Stuart enjoyed bowling, woodworking, hunting and fishing and also made several trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Stuart is survived by his wife Mary of Cambridge, son Jeff Binger of Cambridge, daughters Kathy and husband Ken White of Cambridge, Julie and husband Brian Nelson of Cambridge, Alison and husband Steve Metzger of Cambridge, eight grandchildren Dilan Falk-Binger, Shawn, Ryan and Hannah White, Tyler and Travis Nelson, Vanessa and Jessica Metzger, brothers Keith and wife Gladys Falk of Harris, James and wife Mary Falk of Hermantown, sisters Karin and husband Darrell Anderson of Wayzata, Susan Falk of Shoreview, Kathryn Falk of Plymouth, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
