Obituary of Debrah Lemieux-Betlach
Debrah Ann Lemieux-Betlach, 48, of Cambridge passed away at home on Tuesday, November 27, 2007.
She was born April 14, 1959 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Norman and Shirley (Peterson) Lillard. She grew up in south Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1977. Deb attended post secondary schooling and would go on to work at Pillsbury, and Nestle's for several years.
On June 10, 1999 she was united in marriage to Anthony Betlach in Cambridge and they made their home in Harris. Deb worked as a CNA at the Grandview Christian Home and later at TMA. She enjoyed working with the residents and was planning on furthering her education to become a nurse, but her failing health prevented her from doing so.
Deb was a member of the Cambridge Lutheran Church. She loved animals and was able to have many at the farm. She enjoyed plants and gardening, she liked to go shopping at Wal-Mart late at night, and loved cooking for her family. She was a very caring person and was always concerned for other people. Deb especially loved her kids, and loved Christmas; she always made her kids sing Christmas songs when it was time to open their presents. She was very family oriented and was a pillar of strength for her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Lillard, aunt Ione Maier and uncle Leo Maier.
Deb is survived by her husband Anthony of Stacy, children Nicole Betlach of New Brighton, Matthew Betlach of Cambridge, Annie Lemieux-Betlach of Cambridge, Madeline Betlach of Stacy, two grandchildren Alexis Daleiden and Ashlyn Long, father Norm and wife Bev Lillard of Omaha, NE, brother Mark of Minneapolis and sister Diane of Colorado, as well as many other relatives and friends.
