Obituary of Erling Tungseth

Rev. Erling M. Tungseth, 89, of Cambridge, former pastor at Cambridge Lutheran Church passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Grandview Christian Home. He was born October 6, 1917 in Hawley, Minnesota to Erling L. and Lydia (Larson) Tungseth. He was a Lutheran minister for 62 years and served parishes in the twin cities area, Rochester, Milwaukee and Cambridge. He was preceded in death by parents Erling L. and Lydia Tungseth, sisters Evelyn (Tungseth) Haug, Arleen (Tungseth) Monan, son Michael. Erling is survived by wife Barbara of Cambridge, son Jonathan of Cambridge, daughter Amy of San Diego, son Paul of Reading, PA, daughters Karen Neset (David Estreen) of Hudson, WI, Miriam (Randy) Odermann of Portland, OR, Marlene Tungseth of Tarrytown, NY granddaughters Ashley and Kirsten Odermann, sisters Dagny Rolph, Esther Hinschberger, brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
