Obituary of Walter Koth
Walter Richard Koth, 80, of Harris, MN died peacefully at home on March 3, 2013.
Walter (Wally) was born May 11, 1932 in Tripp, South Dakota to Lydia and John Koth. He was a member of the United States Air Force from 1952-56. While stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska, he was united in marriage to Pauline Rudolph on December 5, 1953. After his discharge from the Air Force, they settled in St. Paul, and later in Coon Rapids, MN. In 1974 they moved to their present home in Harris.
Walter was employed by Burlington Northern/Santa Fe Railroad until his retirement in January of 1999. Walter is survived by his wife Pauline; son Troy Koth; daughters Pamela Rennaker, Linda Brausen, Deborah (Norman) Pratt; grandchildren Randal (Tammy) Rennaker Jr., Ryan Rennaker, Jessica Thompson, Mark (Carrie) Rand, Scott (Alisha) Rand, Alex Rand, Laura Pratt, Nathan (Julie) Pratt, Vanessa (Dave) Day; son-in-law Randal Rennaker Sr.; and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Edmund Koth; and sister Phyllis (Koth) Mick.
