Obituary of Hubert Geiser

Hubert Bernard "Lucky" Geiser Jr., 93, formerly of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud. He was born on January 25, 1920 to Hubert Sr. and Katherine (Otte) Geiser in Bluffton, MN where he was raised and attended school. Hubert enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in World War II, and was honorably discharged. Lucky married Pearl Olson in South Dakota. They lived for a time in Minneapolis and in 1960 bought a farm in Springvale. They lived there until January 2007 when they moved to Braham. Pearl passed away in March 2007 and Lucky continued to make his home in Braham until April 2012 when he moved to the Veteran's Home/ Hospital in St. Cloud. He worked for several years at Prospect Foundry. After retiring from that job he continued farming at his home in Springvale until he could no longer continue doing so. Lucky enjoyed raising horses and collecting coins. Lucky and Pearl traveled several states working with her antique business. He and Pearl also enjoyed their trip to Hawaii several years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pearl, and brothers Bob and Jim. Lucky will be deeply missed by his sons DeLorne and wife Tina Kluck of East Bethel, Darrel Kardell of Wisconsin, four grandchildren DeLorne Kluck Jr., Brian Kluck, Rena (Tom) Pepin, Kim (Darrin) Crook, four great grandchildren Calvin, Megan, Emily and Abagail, great great granddaughter Harlow, brother Harry Geiser, sister Noreen Murray, as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
