Obituary of Judith Hockert

Judith K. (Hipp) Hockert, 67, of Cambridge, formerly of New Brighton, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 after a two year fight with brain cancer. She was born December 11, 1945 in Hennepin County, Minnesota to Edwin and Louise (Chance) Hipp. Judith grew up in New Brighton, MN and graduated from Mounds View High School in 1965. In 1984, she moved to Cambridge where she was a bookkeeper for Ideal Industries in Spencerbrook. Judith had a passion for scrapbooking, golfing with the girls, and most importantly, spending time with her loving family. She was preceded in death by her father Edwin Hipp; sister-in-laws Connie Hipp and Rosie (Hockert) Bankston; brother-in-law Thomas Hockert. Judith is survived by husband Michael Hockert of Cambridge; sons Thomas (Lori) Hockert, Paul (Lisa) Hockert; mother Louise Chance Hipp; grandchildren Katelyn and Kyle Hockert, Amy LaBarre; brothers James (Mary) Hipp, Thomas Hipp; sister Patricia (John) Pavel; as well as many nephews, nieces, and extended family.
