Obituary of Lillian Wetther

Lillian Hope Wetther, 81, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West. She was born on May 23, 1932 in Springvale Township, Minnesota the 11th of 13 children to Gustav and Celia (Ferrell) Reineccius. Lillian grew up in the Springvale area and attended the Liberty Country School and went on to graduate from Cambridge High School. On April 6, 1951 she was united in marriage to David Wetther at the Cambridge Lutheran Church. They first lived in Antigo, Wisconsin while David served in the Air National Guard. Later they moved to Minneapolis and eventually settled in rural Isanti where they raised their nine children. Lillian was a longtime active member of Cambridge Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, taking trips to Duluth, and going on drives to visit family and friends. Family was especially important to Lillian, she thoroughly enjoyed raising her children and had a passion for being a mother. Lillian had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband David, son Tim in 1976, sisters Leona Shulstad, Lucille Kehn, LuVerne Sandstrom, Lula Peterson, Laura Walker, Lauraine Coffin, brothers Russell Reineccius, Robert Reineccius and Raymond Reineccius.. Lillian is survived by her children Carole and husband Larry Wilson of Cambridge, Larry and wife Janice Wetther of Stanchfield, Thomas and wife Diane Wetther of Princeton, Terry Wetther of Cambridge, Jon Wetther of Isanti, Tina and husband Rob Marshall of Isanti, Corey Wetther (Alison) of Minneapolis,. Robin Wetther of Center City, six grandchildren Kirk Lundeen, Shawn (Robin) Wetther, Sherri Wetther, Joe Wetther, Nick Marshall and Alex Marshall, five great grandchildren, sister Luella Lee of Cambridge, brothers Richard Reineccius of San Francisco, CA, Royal "Ted" and wife Kathy Reineccius of Princeton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
