Obituary of Richard Thomson

Richard Kevin "Rick" Thomson, 66, of Grasston died on Thursday December 15, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis. He was born September 26, 1945 in Lockport, New York to Maurice and Sarah Thomson. Rick graduated from high school and went on to earn a Bachelors Degree. He worked as a police officer for several years and was also a carpenter. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, and son Kevin. He is survived by his wife Candi, children Christina (Todd) Hunziker, Lisa Gafkjen, Caroline, Shane Thomson, step daughters Wendy Wallstad, Barb Ren, daughter-in-law Dana Thomson, nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter Isabella, sister Carissa "Reese" (Ed) Marks, as well as numerous other relative and friends.
