I was so sorry to hear of Larry's death. I worked with him for many years at the regional center and afterwards when he moved into supervising group homes. I was always impressed by Larry's ability to think on his feet. I remember one particular episode where there were 4-5 supervisors gathered in a room in Cambridge being licensed by a reviewer from the department of human services. Larry was sitting at a computer cranking out documentation that the licensor was requesting as she asked for it.
I remember that Larry was so inviting and friendly when I first met him. I always remember that. I was able to. Visit with a few times last summer and was talkative and seemed to be feeling good at the time. He talked about the boys and seemed pleased with them. Larry was a sweet and nice guy. He will be remembered that way.
