Obituary of Deborah Pierce

Deborah Susan Pierce, 47, of Mora passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 11, 2008 at her home. She was born on January 26, 1961 in Cambridge, Minnesota to Marianne Reineccius and James Harris. She was baptized at Calvary Lutheran Church at Rush Point. Deb attended grade school in Cambridge and graduated from Pine City High School. On September 6, 1986 she married Steven M. Pierce in Pine City. The couple made their home in St. Paul for a short time before moving to Milwaukee. They would later move to Bethel and lived there until moving to Cambridge. Deb worked at the Trevilla Nursing Home in New Brighton as well as Unity Hospital. She attended the Cambridge Community College to become an EMT. She worked for several years at the Cambridge Medical Center. In 2000 she began working at the Rush City Correctional Facility and in 2002 she moved to Mora. Deb enjoyed going to antique stores and collecting antiques, reading true crime books, watching court television and police programs and especially spending time with her children. She was preceded in death by her husband Steven on September 2, 1998 and grandmother Doris Reese on August 13, 2002. Deb is survived by sons Jesse Pierce of Isanti, Jeremy Pierce of Mora, daughter Niquia Pierce of Grand Rapids, MN, two grandchildren Madison Marie Pierce and Alexandrea Lynn Pierce, mother Marianne Reineccius of Isanti, father Jim Harris of Isanti, brother Darren Reineccius of Isanti, as well as many other relatives and friends.
