Obituary of Raymond Carlson

Raymond Harlan Carlson, age 56, passed away peacefully from complications of Down Syndrome. Ray has lived in an ACR group home for the disabled in New Brighton, MN for 3 years, and previously at Camphill Village in Sauk Center, MN as well as other group homes over the years. Ray was a loving son and brother with a unique sense of humor and a mind of his own that made us laugh, and taught us patience. He brought much joy into the lives of all who knew him. Surviving Ray are his mother Donna Carlson of Cambridge, MN, and brother Phil (and Cecilia) of Middleton, WI, and Mark (and Melinda) of Guangzhou, China. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley Carlson of Cambridge, and sister Linda Lindberg of Chicago area. Any memorial gifts should be made payable to ACR Homes and will be presented by the family on Ray's behalf.
