Obituary of Jacqueline Seecamp
Jacqueline Marie (Erickson) Seecamp was born March 17, 1938 in Minneapolis, MN. She died peacefully on March 17, 2008.
She was the daughter of Floyd C. and Mildred A Erickson. She resided in North Minneapolis and graduated from North High in 1956. She was employed by the Minneapolis Public Schools for 4 years.
In 1957 she met her future husband, Carsten H. Seecamp, Jr. from Hebron, N.D. Carst and Jacque married March 18, 1960. They moved to Cambridge, MN in 1963, where Carst practiced medicine and they raised their family.
Jacque was active in MN Medical Auxiliary where she was an officer for several years. Both her and Carst enjoyed entertaining church groups and the annual "Mayors Tea". They also taught Sunday School at First Baptist in Cambridge, MN. She lost her beloved husband to cancer in 1999. After that, she resided at Carsten's Harbour Assisted Living in Cambridge, MN which was named after her husband and was the home they raised their children in.
For enjoyment, Jacque liked to read, do puzzles and word finds. She as was a wonderful and caring grandmother ("Nanu").
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carsten H, Seecamp Jr, Parents; Floyd C. and Mildred A Erickson, In-Laws Rev. C.H. and Julia Seecamp Brother-In-Law; Mark Anderson.
She is survived by daughters; Cindy M. Seecamp of Apple Valley, Suzette Scofield (David ) of Cambridge; son Skip Seecamp of Columbus, OH, six grandchildren; Natalie Novak, Matt Nesbit (significant other to Natalie ), Justin Novak, Matt Novak, Caitlynn Scofield, Carter and Cameron Seecamp, sisters: Joanne (Bill) Ebling, Germain (Mark) Anderson, sisters-in-law Clara (Don) Klatke, Erna (Jim) Yackel, and many nieces and nephews.
