Dean Allen will always be considered a part of our own family, as we have been longtime friends with him, as well as Lynn, Carrie and Bryan. He surely will be missed, and remembered for his kindness, and humor, and just for being an all around, sweet person. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family.

He was a tough teacher...and always got me for chewing gum in his class. But I adored him! I always had fun running into him around town after high school. He was very witty and such a nice guy. He will be missed.

A few years ago I was at practice and Dean came to the top of the hill. We stopped and myself and the rest of the offensive line went up the hill to shake hands with Dean. It was awesome what a great moment! Each year after the ritual would repeat and each time was a special as the first. I am so happy to have made Dean's acquaintance these past few years. I appreciated his smile, humor, and wisdom. A great example for myself and others on how to teach and coach. Thanks Deano! God bless and gods speed!

Lynn, Carrie, Bryan and Family, May God comfort you as you mourn the loss of your husband and Dad. He was a special guy. Some of the best times of my life were being on the Bluejacket Football Coaching Staff. Dean was an integral part of that. His timing and sense of humor was very appreciated. He has touched countless lives with what he taugtht, coached and showed young people. He was a good and special man!!! I am sad for your loss.

Dean was a man who somehow commanded respect from all the students he taught. He always wanted the best for kids but there was a line you weren't supposed to cross. A few of us always tried though and we got to be proficient at running laps in the gym or doing situps or pushups. To his family: Please know that all of the messages on Facebook and other sources are absolutely genuine and sincere. If only a small percentage of us could have the influence on others that Dean did, the world would be a much better place. Dan and Doreen D'Aigle
