Melva was a very special person to our family. She was my Grandma Toots closest friend. I will always hold a special place in my heart for her. She finished a blanket that my grandma never got to finish before she passed and Melva finished it. She had the heart of an angel. May you forever Rest in Peace.

Don You have my deepest sympathy in Melva's passing. I always enjoyed visiting with both you and Melva when Mom and I visited Aunt Vera. I will never forget Melva's "sugar cookies". Melva gave me her recipe about 50 years ago, and they have become my specialty that everyone likes. I always think of Melva when I am baking a batch, which is often. Please take care.

My Great Grandma was one of my biggest inspirations and will always be. She meant so much to me. Yes, we unfortunately had to let go until we meet her again in heaven. But, no matter what she will always be on my mind. Melva was a very beautiful, caring woman. She was always putting a smile on everyone's face. I will always remember the precious times I got to share with her. Heaven gained a very beautiful angle. I already know she is singing, dancing and looking down on us smiling. You will never be forgotten. Even though it might be awhile, I can not wait tell the day I get to have my dance with you again. I hope they take good care of you up there. I miss you already. I love you with all my heart, Great Grandma.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I will always remember the fun times we had when we all would get together and camp or some would stay in cabins. Melva was a great neighbor and the boys enjoyed going over and having cookies after school. I have missed the hellos at the end of the road when getting mail, but that sweet voice will never be forgotten. Melva is in a great place and worry and pain free now, how great!

I am so sorry to hear of Melva's passing. She was always so fun to visit with each time I would happen to run into her. What a dear, sweet woman she was!
