Obituary of C.H. Pauling

Rev. C.H. "Duke" Pauling, 103, of Roseville, formerly of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Friendship Home in Roseville. He was born on July 18, 1910 in Caledonia Township, O'Brien Township, Iowa to August and Mathilda (Boldenow) Pauling. He married Ruth Johnson and they raised four children. During his ministry he served congregations in Sutherland and Meridan, Iowa from 1934 -1942, Ida Grove, Iowa from 1942-1950, Trinity First Lutheran Church in Minneapolis from 1950 - 1963, was Chaplain at the Cambridge State Hospital and School from 1963 - 1995, and Chaplain at Crestview Lutheran Home in Columbia Heights from 1976 - 1995. He is survived by his children Ruclare (Pat) Pauling, David (Linda) Pauling, Kristen (Charles) Hirt, and Melody Pauling, and many other family members. Full obituary to follow.
