Obituary of Myrtice Wyatt
Myrtice Marie Wyatt, 88, of East Bethel, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, MN surrounded by her family. Myrt, daughter of Alvin A. Stone and Erma E. Henrikson, was born May 8, 1925 at home in Athens, MN.
Myrt was united in marriage to Leigh J. Wyatt on February 21, 1952, and together they raised five children on the family dairy farm in East Bethel. She loved contributing her time and talents to charitable organizations throughout the world. If there was something to crochet, sew, or embroider she volunteered to do it. She was loving, caring, generous, patient, and non-complaining. Giving to others, she did not expect anything in return. Though she traveled extensively, her greatest joys were in the things closest to home, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She made everyone feel they were her favorite. Fishing was an enjoyable past time; she could fry them as well as catch them. Her gardens produced abundantly and those who ate at her table enjoyed the bounties.
She is survived by son George (Lynn) Wyatt, and 3 daughters: Donna (Mel) Northway, Fran (John) Bator, and Marjorie (Bart) Wanamaker; 12 grandchildren and 21 ½ great grandchildren; and special companion Curt Soderstrom. Also surviving is brother Russell (Carol) Stone; brother-in-law Archie (Jo Ann) Wyatt, Jr., sisters-in-law Minnie, Margaret, and Betty Wyatt, Mary Hershaw; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leigh, daughter Sandra, brother Leonard Stone, and infant sister.
