Obituary of Judith Thompson

Judith Lee (Warmelin) Thompson, 72, of Cambridge, MN, passed away on June 22nd in Cambridge. Judy was born in Minneapolis to Lawrence & Leota Warmelin on February 23rd, 1942. She attended school in Robbinsdale. She married Robert Thompson on September 24th, 1966 at Westwood Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park, MN. She was connected to nature through her marvelous gardens that she loved to tend to throughout her life. This same passion was also reflected by her love of animals. She was a devoted child of God and always tried to serve Him. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Judy is survived by her husband, Robert Thompson of Cambridge, MN; her daughter, Lisa Searcy of Janesville, WI; her sons James (Tracy) Thompson of Madison, WI and Michael Thompson of Oak Creek, WI; her sisters Carole Janke, Lauren (Marlyn) Hempel,and Lynn (Brad) Bangtson: and her beloved granddaughter Breanna Searcy. Pallbearers will be Robert Thompson, James Thompson, Michael Thompson, Marlyn Hempel, Brad Bangtson and Troy Janke.
