As your neighbor,friend & babysitter we shared some very wonderful times. Even, the Fridley Tornado!! I will always have fond memories of you and your family. Thoughts and prayers are with you, Budd, Joe and Sam. I am so glad I was able to know Mara better the last few years. I appreciate the pictures she took and was willing to share at the sporting events (since I always seemed to forget my camera). She was always willing to lend a hand and I was thankful for advice and thoughts she shared with me. I will miss her! She leaves behind a huge void in the community.

Although I was just Mara's Postal Carrier, I thoughly enjoyed every chance we had conversation together. Mara was such a great listener but also a wonderful conversationalist! I learned many things from Mara regarding Natural health. We would exchange new ideas that we had learned recently. Had tea together at a nearby coffee shop. Mara always had a smile on her face and an encourgement to give...I will miss her on my route.
I have comfort in knowing Mara is in the presense of our Lord. Even though all will miss her, all who believe in Christ will see her again.

Mara is/was a blessing! I had the priveledge to schedule her for exams in Radiology at CMC. She was in pain but she always had a smile and a good word. Even though I was just a fringe person in her life, I will miss her dearly. I won't be able to come to either memorial time because i will be at work but i will be praying for Mara's family & close friends, that they will continue to feel her love embracing you. And may God give you strength and peace.

I was introduced to Mara about four years ago by my niece, Lisa. Mara was someone who immediately made you feel like a friend. I loved her wit and her smile that started in her heart and came out through her eyes. I will miss our beauty shop conversations. What a joy she was to know.

My heart goes out to her family as our community has lost a passionate and caring person. Mara touched my life for such a brief time when I met her last year as we worked on fighting the sex offender program in Cambridge. If all of us cared just half of what she did about causes, this world would be such be an amazing place. I only hope we fight even harder when new problems arise in our community to honor her memory.

I will always appreciate Mara volunteering her time and talents on behalf of the Isanti County Attorneys Office Victim Services Program. She had a heart for dealing with victims of crime and wanted to make sure that they found justice and restitution in the cases in which they found themselves victimized. Mara was able to make a difference in the lives of individuals going through difficult days in the criminal justice system and for that I will always be thankful. To the Renier Family: I met Mara thru a mutual friend, Dr. Nancy, about 5 years ago. What a bright light she was! Always so concerned about everyone else. What I did learn very quickly is her love of family and concern for others - I don't think there was a time I ever visited with her that Budd or one of the boys wasn't mentioned. She was one of those people you looked forward to seeing because there was so much to dicuss. I will miss her and her beautiful smile greatly. Her light may be extinguished, but her memory never will be.
