Obituary of Randi Cheney

Randi Ann Cheney, age 75, of Blaine, passed away on Sunday August 17, 2014. She was born on November 11, 1938 to Dorothy M. and Kenneth E. Cheney at Miller Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Randi grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Murray High School in 1957. She then went on to serve in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1959. After leaving the Navy, she began driving truck for Advanced United and Consolidated Freight. Randi's favorite place to visit was Colorado. She spent time living in St. Paul, Circle Pines, and Coon Rapids. After retiring from trucking, she settled in Blaine. She is survived by her daughters Colleen (Rick) Kennerly of Fountain City, WI, Mary and (Tony) Goetz of Coon Rapids, Wendy (Roger) Hamm of Cambridge; son Terry (Donna) Cheney of Cambridge; seven grandchildren Kenny, Tony, Moriah, Jennifer, Michael, Amy, Betsy and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Kay (Darryl) Thayer of St. Paul, Karen Richardson of Denver, CO, and a brother Steve (Pam) Cheney of Chisago. Randi is preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Kenneth and a brother, Dennis.
